Where we work, and who supplies your water.

Twenty-five towns across five counties on both sides of the state line. Most service-area pages are a list of place names for search engines. This one also tells you which utility serves each town and where that water is drawn from, because in this market that answer is genuinely surprising in about half the cases.

Mecklenburg County, NC

One utility, one report, and it reads soft at 32 mg/L. These towns' legacy systems are inactive, so a Charlotte address and a Huntersville address are drinking the same treated water.

York County, SC

Five of these six towns run no treatment plant at all. If you live in Fort Mill, Tega Cay, York or Lake Wylie, Rock Hill's report is your report, and anyone selling you a local hard-water problem should be able to name which report they read.

Lancaster County, SC

The one local system disinfected with chloramine rather than free chlorine, and it has been since 2009. That single fact changes which filter media actually works here, and it is the most commonly mis-sold detail in this market.

Union County, NC

Two completely different situations share these ZIP codes. Union County publishes that roughly 25% of its population relies on groundwater, and peer-reviewed analysis of more than 5,100 state-laboratory tests found 19.5% of Union County well tests at or above the 10 ppb federal arsenic limit, against a statewide rate near 2.25%. On a well here, testing is not optional.

Cabarrus and Gaston Counties, NC

Concord and Kannapolis are not on Catawba water at all, so Charlotte's figures do not transfer to those addresses. Gastonia draws from the same reservoir as Charlotte but treats it at a different plant, which means a different report.

Pages for the towns, and for the work

Eight of these towns have a page of their own, built on that town’s own utility report rather than on a template. Five pages cover the work itself, and one publishes the prices.

Same two prices, everywhere on this page.

City water system $2,900 installed. Well water system $4,500 installed. No travel surcharge, no county-line pricing, and the test is free wherever you are on this list.
